PRESENT SCHEMES

As on today following schemes are being implemented by the Khadi & V.I. Board.

PMEGP

MDA

20% MDA is given by the Center Government (KVIC) on the production basis and 10% MDA is given by the Government of Haryana on cost of production of khadi (Cotton, Silk,Wollen) and Polyvastra.

Interest Subsidy Scheme

Haryana Khadi & Village Industries Board implemented this Scheme w.e.f. 1987-88. This scheme was applicable only for Khadi & Village Industries in regard to capital Expenditure and working capital requirement to raise loan for financial institution. The scheme envisages that interest payable to the banks will be subsidised by the Commission and the quantum of the subsidy will be limited to the difference between the actual rate of interest charged by the financing institutions and the initial 4% to be borne by the borrower. The scheme was applicable to only Co-operative Societies and registered institution. The Scheme remained enforce continue. Under this scheme 129 units were assisted involving an amount of Rs. 2.57 crores approximately.

OLD-SCHEMES

Pattern Base:-

The main programme of Haryana Khadi & V.I. Board is to advance loan for the development of Khadi and Village Industries in the State. Upto 94-95 loans were granted on the basis of KVIC approved pattern. The funds for loan were provided by Khadi and V.I. Commission through Khadi and V.I. Board at the interest rate of 4% per annum for Village Industries and interest free loan was being granted to Khadi Industry. Upto 1994-95, Rs. 4237.00 lacs have been disbursed to 37510 industrial units set-up in the State.

CBC Scheme:-

KVIC introduced CBC Scheme which was remained in operation from 01.04.1995 to 31.03.2002. Under this scheme project upto Rs. 25.00 lakhs could be established in rural areas. Subsidy is granted at the rate of 25% of the total project cost upto Rs.10.00 lakhs and at the rate of 10% above Rs. 10.00 lakhs. The rate of interest charged on the loan sanctioned in this scheme is an average of five leading bank’s lending rates. A total fund of Rs. 1496.00 lakhs to 257 units was disbursed under this scheme.

REGP Scheme:-

In 1996, KVIC introduced a new Scheme also namely REGP. The loan under this scheme is sanctioned upto Rs. 25.00 lakhs in Rural Area for establishing Village Industries. Board has made exemplary progress in the last few years under REGP Scheme. During 2006-07 it get the first position in the country under REGP Scheme. The year wise achievement are follows:-
